Senop AFCD TI
Advanced fire control device thermal imager
AFCD TI enables you to engage your target day and night with a high first-hit probability – thanks to its integrated uncooled thermal imager, day camera, eye-safe laser range finder, inertial measurement unit and ballistic computer with necessary environmental sensors. Digital image fusion improves the target detection capability especially at nightfall. The ammunition type in use is automatically provided for the AFCD ballistic computer by the electronical interface of the weapon system.

AFCD TI is an intelligent and accurate weapon sight especially designed for Saab´s Carl-Gustaf system. AFCD TI allows you to engage your target day and night with a high first-hit probability, thanks to its integrated uncooled thermal imager, day camera, eyesafe laser rangefinder, inertial measurement unit and ballistic computer with the necessary environmental sensors. Digital image fusion improves target detection capability especially during nightfall.
Information regarding the currently used ammunition type is automatically provided for AFCD TI by the weapon system’s electronic interface. It takes a single key push to rapidly calculate the aiming dot for a stationary or moving target. The following parameters from the sight and the weapon are used for the calculation:
- Compatible also with Saab AT-4 and NLAW systems and different support weapon systems e.g. 40mm GMG or 12.7mm HMG
- Durable carbon-fiber casing and shock resistant design
- 24/7 operation with integrated thermal imager and day camera
- High first hit probability with smart ballistic computer
- Light total system weight ~1.7kg
- Straightforward user-friendly interface
- Squad level reconnaissance tool with thermal observation and range finder
- ITAR free
AFCD TI is now fully qualified and available for all Carl-Gustaf M4 and M3 weapon system users.
